SysInfoTools PST Upgrade and downgrade is a powerful PST conversion tool to upgrade or degrade MS Outlook PST files. Using SysInfoTools PST Upgrade and Downgrade a user can convert ANSI PST files to Unicode PST and Unicode PST files to ANSI PST files. Outlook 2002 and earlier versions of MS Outlook use ANSI encoding for their PST files. This format has a maximum size of 2 GB (2power31 bytes) and does not support Unicode file format. PST file exceeding the size limit more than 2GB, prompt error messages, ".pst has reached maximum size limit " and could become corrupted. To avoid and overcome this type of situation PST Upgrade and Downgrade tool can be very helpful, to convert ANSI PST files to Unicode PST files. Microsoft Outlook 2003 and onward have a Unicode PST file format. This PST format supports 20 GB size limit.

This PST conversion tool converts the entire mail folder/information such as Inbox, Outbox, Deleted Items, and Sent Items etc. Software can be used as both in PST Degradation and Up-gradation, i.e. User can convert ANSI PST files to Unicode PT files and Unicode PST files (size up to 2GB) to ANSI PST files.
