Caption Translator is a free application which allows real-time translation of Chinese subtitled movies into English. Using Open-Source Optical Character Recognition software (tesseract) and the Microsoft translation service, it captures a selected region of the screen, transcodes the scanned text into the Chinese alphabet, translates the Chinese text into English and displays the results.
