bcTester 4.9 is a freeware for barcode reading (linear and 2 dimensional) on digital images captured by scanning or photographing. A lot of input formats are supported, e.g. BMP, GIF, PNG, TIFF, JPG. Version 4.9 reads barcodes from Adobe PDF documents as well. All common barcode types are recognized, e. g. 2 of 5 familiy, code 39, code 93, codabar, code128, ean, ucc and upc, GS1 DataBar (POS), patchcodes, 2-state and 4-state Post Codes like PostNet, Royal Mail, USPS Intelligent Mail Barcode (IMB). bcTester decodes 2D barcodes Aztec, Data Matrix, QR Code and PDF 417.
